Kapitel 44: The five CEOs

Markus's cold onyx eyes moved up from the letter he was holding in his hands at me, then they warmed up and the tips of his lips twitched into a smile. He put the letter back into the envelope and threw it at the fire.

"They confirmed your pregnancy after the blood test," he announced, then took some pretty looking bag from above his table, and held it to me, "Thanks."

"For what?" I took the bag from his hands, being in a slight shock, then opened it and arched an eyebrow. There were two red heart-shaped boxes and a third very small bow of the same shape on the top. I looked from the content of the bag to Markus, but he just crossed his hands at his chest without any words.
