I saw the Incubus walking lazily leaving his last class. In the corner of the hall, I stood like a fool. Cleopatra's words replayed in my head about last night. On the other hand, I tried to resist him from approaching my sister.

    His eyes met mine for a few seconds. Realized my presence still standing frozen in the corner of the hall. I quickly changed the expression on my face when I saw him walking closer.

    "Don't think that by saving me yesterday, you can attack me slowly," I said coldly.

    He responded with a short laugh. "Wow… how narrow-minded you are, Elsie. If I didn't save you that night, today you can't put your foot on the school floor, stand proud, and look at me arrogantly."

    My lips trembled in annoyance. "If I had a choice, I'd rather die than have you save me."

    He sneered. Very annoying. "Where're your thanks, hm?"

    "Why did you save me? Didn't you tell me to jump in?"
