Kapitel 162: Stepladder 3

In the late afternoon, Lily and Matthew came out of the five-star hotel where they were staying. The hotel staff greeted them as they walked to the reception for check-out. Unexpectedly, the hotel manager where Lily and Matthew were staying was already waiting for them at the reception desk.

The hotel manager gave a black gift with a gold ribbon. There is a five-star hotel logo on the box they give. "I heard you and Mrs. Graff just got engaged. As a congratulation, please accept a simple gift from us."

Matthew smiled as he accepted the gift given by the hotel manager. "Thank you. The news of my engagement has already spread."

"You can't hide the good news, sir," the hotel manager said to Matthew. He then glanced at Lily, standing next to Matthew, and turned his attention back to Matthew. "You are a lucky man, sir."

Matthew pulled Lily's waist close to him. Then he kissed Lily's head. "I was lucky."
