Kapitel 450: Do that

Michael eyes went wide as he was speechless by what he had just heard, he couldn't believe it… Lia was the culprit all along, and they had not even found out for years, she had to tell them herself, how could they have been so ignorant not to have noticed.

But then again, Michael couldn't blame himself, who would ever think that Lia could do something as terrible as she did, she literally betrayed everyone, especially Natasha, he thought that they were friends? Just what was going on here?

"Yes I know, I am still speechless as well" said Dom as he sighed and he shook his head, he could just imagine how Michael looked right now, he probably had the same look he had on his face when Lia told him everything.

"I couldn't believe it when she told me, I thought that I was dreaming and then it hit me that she was being serious" said Dom as he sighed and he turned to the left.

"Dom do you remember that I told you I found a glitch in the security footage from back then?" asked Michael as now it all made sense to him.

"Yes, I know, Lia admitted to tampering with the footage, she knew that we would go check the footage" said Dom as he sighed, he felt like he was going out of his mind right now, he couldn't think straight, he would have never thought in a thousand years that Lia, the seemingly sweet and innocent Lia would be capable of doing something so dubious.

It kept on turning his head upside down, the harsh reality hitting him that the horrible woman, the one he should have hated all along was someone he supported unconditionally while Natasha who was innocent all along was who he hated so much, he felt so terrible.

"Good God, I can't believe this…" said Michael as he sighed and shook his head, this came as a shock to him, but it made so much sense, so much sense.

"You don't know the half of it, I feel like an idiot, I'm on my way home right now, I need to talk to Natasha" said Dom sighed.

"You definitely need to do that" said Michael.

"Yes, so please remember to tell Nine to take Joy to my parent's house" said Dom.

"Got it, and good luck, because you are going to need it" said Michael as his heart really went out to Dom, because speaking with Natasha would definitely not be easy, he felt even worse for Natasha right now.

"Thanks Michael…" said Dom as he ended the call as his phone was on the passenger's seat.

Michael sighed as Dom ended the call, this was just too much, to say that he was shocked was an understatement.

Michael quickly dialed Nine's number before he forgot to do what he was supposed to.

"Hi Xavier" said Jennifer as she smiled at him.

"Hi Jen" replied Nine as he smiled.

"Joy is going to be out soon, she had to rush to the bathroom" said Jennifer as she smiled.

"Alright" said Nine as he smiled.

"I have to go now, I'm late for a teacher's meeting, I will talk to you later" said Jennifer as she looked like she was in a hurry.

"Alright, I'll talk to you later" said Nine as he smiled and Jennifer smiled before she turned around and left.

Nine frowned when he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket as he brought it out of his pocket and answered it.

"What is it Michael?" asked Nine as he put his phone to his ear.

"Nine where has your phone been all day? Dom has been trying to get a hold of you" said Michael.

"I left it in my car, what's up?" asked Nine.

"Have you picked Joy up from school yet?" asked Michael.

"Not yet, but I'm about to now, I'm waiting for her to come outside" said Nine.

"Great, Nine, Dom needs you to take Joy to his parent's house, and not back home" said Michael as Nine frowned and narrowed his eyes.

"Why?" asked Nine as this didn't make sense to him.

"Look, there's no time to explain in detail, because this is insane, but Lia just confessed to being the one who drugged Natasha and Dom" said Michael as Nine's eyes went wide.

"You have to be joking" said Nine in shock.

"I wish I was Nine, but like I said, no time to explain, just take Joy over to Aunt's house, Dom left the office to see Natasha, and I can only imagine how that's going to go" said Michael as Nine was speechless, he didn't know what to say.

"Alright, no need to worry, I will take Joy over there" said Nine still looked like he was in disbelief, but at the same time, everything made so much sense now.

"Thanks I think I will be over there in a bit" said Michael.

"Alright, see you then" said Nine as he ended the call when he saw Joy run towards him.

"Hi Uncle Nine" said Joy as she gave him a quick hug and he smiled.

"Hi Joy, how was school today?" asked Nine as he smiled and put his phone back in his pocket as they walked to his car.

"Good, but I have homework for the weekend" said Joy as she smiled and Nine opened the door for her.

"Don't worry about that, I will help you" said Nine as he smiled and Joy smiled as she buckled herself in and Nine got in the car and started it as they drove away.

"So did anything interesting happen at school today?" asked Nine as Joy shook her head.

"No, not really, it was normal today" said Joy as she giggled and Nine turned right instead of left and Joy picked up on that almost immediately.

"Uncle Nine where are we going? This isn't the way home" said Joy as she looked out the window and Nine was surprised that she knew the usual way home.

"I know princess, but we aren't going home today" said Nine as he smiled.

"We aren't?" asked Joy in confusion as she looked at him.

"No, your daddy asked me to take you over to Grandma's place today" said Nine.

"He did?" asked Joy as Nine nodded.

"But why?" asked Joy as she didn't get it, she was confused, this was unusual.

"Well he…" said Nine as he didn't know exactly what to say, he didn't want to lie to her, but there was something very serious going on at the moment.

"Well he's going to be very busy today, and so is your mommy, so he asked me to take you over to your Grandma's so you aren't bored and lonely today" said Nine.

"Okay" said Joy as she smiled, she didn't think anything more of his explanation, it did make sense.

Meanwhile Nine was relieved that she believed him and didn't ask any more questions, or else, he wouldn't know what else to say.

"Hey Michael, do you have copies of the project B files?" asked Charlie as he walked into Michael's office without warning.

"They are in my drawer, find them yourself" said Michael as he looked like he was going out.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" asked Charlie in confusion.

"To Grandfather's" replied Michael.

"What? Why??? It's s Friday yes, but what makes you more legible to leave for leisure more than me??" asked Charlie in a whining tone.

"You're such a hypocrite, how come you get to leave early and I have to stay here??!" asked Charlie as he sounded like a child.

"Look Charlie, now is no time for your childishness, Lia just admitted to being the one who drugged Dom and Natasha" said Michael as he looked at Charlie.

"What??!!" shouted Charlie in shock and disbelief.

"Yes" said Michael as he nodded.

"You're lying Michael, you're lying" said Charlie in disbelief as he shook his head.

"I wish I was Charlie, but I'm not, she confessed to Dom herself, Charlie I told you, I told you that Natasha has been innocent all this time, I just would have never guessed in a thousand years that Lia would do something so horrible like this… she literally ruined their lives and for what? Because she's had a crush on Dom for ages? This is unbelievable" said Michael in an exasperated sighed, he was overwhelmed right now with this information, he could only imagine how Natasha and Dom both felt.

"This is unbelievable" said Charlie still in disbelief.

"Tell me about it Charlie, I'm going to Grandfather's right now, see you later hopefully" said Michael as he tapped Charlie on the back before he left, while Charlie remained standing there… in shock.

"What the hell is this???!" asked Charlie as he could not believe this at all, it was too unreal to believe, Lia was the one who did the unthinkable… it was her… it had been her all along.
