Kapitel 402: Something else

"Yes Charlie, I hear you, would you please stop complaining, if you continue ranting I'm going to cut the call" said Michael as he shook his head and moved his phone away from his ear when he heard Charlie ranting yet again.

"You know what Charlie, I don't have time for this, it's not that bad over here" said Michael as he grabbed an apple from the fridge and walked out the kitchen door, it would seem that Charlie just wanted to annoy him this wonderfully fine afternoon.

"Yes I am hanging up on you, relax and do your job the sooner you get it done, the sooner you can come back home" said Michael as he walked through the garden to his room.

"Oh Michael, don't mind Charlie, it's awesome being over here, I love It" came Lulu's voice in the background as Michael laughed when he heard her voice.

"I am sure it is Lulu" said Michael as he stopped walking when he saw Benjamin and he threw him some keys as Benjamin stopped walking.

"You both are crazy, there are way too many bugs here I want to go home" said Charlie as he whined and Michael put his phone on speaker since he was tired of holding it to his ear.

"Finish your work, then come home" replied Michael simply as he heard Charlie groan.

"Oh relax Charlie, anyway Michael, how are things over there and how is everyone?" asked Lulu with a smile.

"Good and good" replied Michael.

"That's nice, and how is Benjamin have you seen him?" asked Lulu as Benjamin froze when he heard her ask about him and he shook his head at Michael.

"He's fine I guess and I have…" said Michael as his voice trailed off when he saw Benjamin shake his head violently.

"He's fine, why do you ask?" asked Michael as Benjamin sighed in relief.

"Oh no reason, that annoying guy hasn't responded to any of my texts, he's totally ignoring me, and it's obvious, he's such a stickler" said Lulu as Michael had to stop himself from laughing.

"Then stop texting him Lulu" said Michael.

"Oh no way I won't give up, he thinks he can't get rid of me, well not that easily, I will deal with him accordingly when I get back" said Lulu.

"Anyway see you later Michael, I have to go now, give Maggy kisses for me" said Lulu as she laughed.

"Don't bet on it, I don't kiss chickens" said Michael as he laughed and Lulu laughed as she ended the call and Benjamin sighed in relief as Michael looked at him.

"Hi Benjamin how are you?" asked Michael as he smiled.

"I am good, and you?" asked Benjamin.

"I am good as well, those are the keys to the gym, and also to one of the cars, I need you to park it in the driveway" said Michael.

"Got it" said Benjamin.

"Thank you, so you are ignoring Lulu" said Michael as more of a fact than a question.

"Your sister… she's something else entirely" said Benjamin as he shook his head, he hated that he ever met Lulu, she was the epitome of annoying, it was like she was sent into his life to trouble him and nothing more.

"Are you trying to say that she's a pain?" asked Michael.

"Your words and not mine" said Benjamin as Michael laughed.

"She texts me in the morning, noon and night, I don't know how it's possible for her to always have something to say, and she just wants to annoy me" said Benjamin.

"A word of advice Benjamin, knowing Lulu, she loves a game, and the harder you make it for her, the more she tries, just be her friend, that's all she wants" said Michael.

"Is it by force to be her friend??" asked Benjamin as he did not get that, what was the big deal, they did not have to be friends.

"For Lulu it is, she must like you very much to be this annoying" said Michael as he laughed and Benjamin did not looked pleased at all.

"I doubt that" said Benjamin.

"You will be fine, Lulu is really sweet once you get to know her" said Michael as he smiled.

"You say that because she is your sister" said Benjamin.

"That may be true, but it is also true that Lulu must admire you a lot for her to want to be friends with you by force" said Michael.

"But then again, it might just be her mischievous side coming out" said Michael as he laughed and Benjamin just shook his head.

"I will see you later Michael" said Benjamin as he walked away and Michael looked at his phone.

Natasha stared at her laptop screen as she was reading something and she sighed internally, she was a little bit skeptical about what she was doing right now, and she honestly did not want to have to go out, but things had to be done.

A part of her was worried that things would go horribly wrong and she would end up in serious trouble, but on the other hand she knew that she had to end this quickly.

Natasha closed her laptop when she heard someone walk into the dining room and she didn't need anyone to tell her who it was.

"Hi Natasha" said Dom as he saw Natasha closing her laptop.

"Hi, did Michael tell you about what I asked him to tell you?" asked Natasha as she gathered the papers on the dining table.

"He did" replied Dom.

"Good, and what did you do?" asked Natasha.

"The cargo ship has left the port as we speak" said Dom.

"That's good" said Natasha as she got her car keys.

"Are you going out?" asked Dom as she turned to look at him.

"What do you think?" asked Natasha.

"Where are you going?" asked Dom.

"No where you should worry about" replied Natasha.

"It's late Natasha, where are you going?" asked Dom as Natasha walked out of the dining room and he followed after her.

"I already told you, nowhere for you to worry about" she replied and Dom sighed, if it was a decent time for her to go out, he would not bother, but it was past eight pm.

"Then let me drive you, I don't like the idea of you going out at this time alone" said Dom.

"I don't need you to trail me, I can drive myself just fine, I am not blind" replied Natasha.

"That's not what I meant Natasha, I just don't want you driving out this late, why don't you ask Michael or Benjamin to go with you then?" asked Dom.

"Ahh so you can have spies watch my every move and report back to you?" asked Natasha as Dom sighed, she was impossible to talk to, it was clear that their conversation last night just made things worse between them.

"Natasha I didn't say that" said Dom.

"Stop the pretence, we all know you want to know what I am up to, but not this time" said Natasha as she scoffed.

"I am not going anywhere dangerous, I will be back before 10pm, if not I will call for help" said Natasha.

"I am worried you are going somewhere dangerous" said Dom as Natasha just smiled at him.

"Well I'm not, so stop asking me questions and giving me suggestions that I never asked for" said Natasha as Dom kept quiet and she walked up the stairs to her room.

A few moments later Natasha walked down the stairs wearing a yellow cardigan since she knew it would be a bit chilly outside and she tied her hair up in a ponytail as she looked at Dom and ignored him.

"If you aren't back by 10:30pm I am going to call Peter and tell him that I don't know where you are" said Dom as that made Natasha turn to look at him.

"Oh don't be so dramatic, I will be back before then, I don't need a curfew" said Natasha.

"You know that this is not a curfew Natasha, I am just worried about your safety here" said Dom.

"Whatever, worry for yourself" replied Natasha with a scoff as she walked out the front door and Dom sighed.

It was clear that things were worse between them, and what made it worse was that he was to blame, at least there was less hostility between them, but now, it was back, and with full force.

Dom wondered what he could do to try to end all of this, to try to fix this and make Natasha forgive him once and for all.

Dom sighed as he walked to his office, he hoped that she would be alright, he just felt uneasy about her leaving at this time, alone, he would have preferred to go with her, but that was not possible, he hoped that she would return soon.
