Kapitel 311: Felicitous Memories XVI
Dom smiled as opened the front door and he closed it behind him as he knew just where Natasha would be right now, so he walked in the direction of his office and the door was left open, he smiled when he saw her quietly reading a book.
"Hello Natasha" said Dom as he walked into his office and he smiled as Natasha who was sitting on the couch looked up at him.
"Hey Dom" said Natasha as she smiled.
"What are you doing?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Oh nothing much, just reading a book Lia recommended, it's actually a cookbook" said Natasha.
"What a surprise, we both know how much Lia hates being in the kitchen" said Dom as he laughed and Natasha laughed.
"Yeah, you are right, but she gave it to me as a gift, so…" said Natasha as her voice trailed off.
"Anyway, where did you go? Aren't you supposed to be on leave from work?" asked Natasha.
"Oh you know that I can't stop working even if Grandfather tells me to" said Dom as he smiled.
"I know" said Natasha as she laughed.
"What are you hiding behind your back?" asked Natasha as she noticed that Dom had his right hand behind his back, and he was acting rather suspicious.
"Oh this?" asked Dom as he feigned ignorance.
"Yes that, tell me what it is that you are hiding behind your back" said Natasha in suspicion as she looked at Dom.
"It's nothing really" said Dom.
"Then if it's nothing tell me what it is" said Natasha as Dom said nothing at all.
"Dominic" called Natasha.
"I never thought that you could be so nosy" said Dom as he laughed.
"No, no, hold up, I am not nosy, you are the one acting very suspicious right now, if anything, I have a right to know what you brought into this house, we both live here after all" said Natasha.
"Oh, you are using the house card on me? Well fine, it's alright, I will take it away" said Dom as Natasha scoffed.
"You are so annoying you know that Dom" said Natasha as she scoffed.
"And you can be easily annoyed" said Dom as he laughed.
"That doesn't mean that you should purposely annoy me" said Natasha as she shook her head.
"No, it does" said Dom as he laughed and Natasha could not believe what she was hearing from him right now.
"You better tell me what you are hiding behind your back" said Natasha.
"Or what?" asked Dom.
"Or you will call Grandfather?" asked Dom as he laughed.
"No, no I won't call him, I can handle things on my own, I know just what to do to get you to tell me what you are hiding" said Natasha as she smiled sweetly.
"Oh really now?" asked Dom as Natasha nodded.
"And what exactly would you do?" asked Dom.
"Well let's see… remember when you and the guys took that class trip during your first year of university?" asked Natasha.
"Yes… but what does that have to do with anything?" asked Dom.
"Well I specifically remember that you guys were supposed to go to Montreal, but, a certain someone, decided to skip the trip since it wasn't compulsory, and he ended up hiding in his Grandfather's summer home" said Natasha as Dom's facial expression changed.
"Who told you that?" asked Dom in surprise.
"Oh well Michael did" said Natasha as she laughed.
"This certain someone, ate all the food in his Grandfather's summer home, and accidentally broke a few windows, and his father who had to go on a business trip in that area, thought that the house had been broken into" said Natasha.
"It would be a shame if uncle knows what actually happened" said Natasha.
"You wouldn't dare tell him" said Dom.
"Oh try me Dom, try me" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Who knew that you could play dirty like this?" asked Dom.
"Oh sweet Dom, anyone can play dirty, they just need the right circumstances" said Natasha as she smiled and she put the book down on the couch.
"You surprise me everyday" said Dom as Natasha smiled at him.
"Tell me what you have behind your back" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Oh well… I am defeated" said Dom as he sighed.
"I just have a beautiful rose for a beautiful lady" said Dom as he brought out one singular rose from behind him and he handed it to Natasha who collected it with a confused expression on her face.
"This it is?" asked Natasha in confusion as she looked at Dom and then at the rose.
"Yes, that's what you wanted to expose me for" said Dom as he laughed and Natasha shook her head.
"You are so annoying Dom, you made me go on and on, just because of a rose?" asked Natasha as she shook her head.
"What? Don't you like it?" asked Dom as he smiled.
"Oh Dom, you know that I'm not someone who really likes flowers, but I will admit that it is pretty" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Thank you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"You are welcome Natasha" said Dom as he smiled.
"But next time, don't waste your money buying me flowers, it's not necessary at all" said Natasha as she smiled.
"I didn't buy it" said Dom.
"You didn't?" asked Natasha in surprise.
"No I didn't I actually went to a meeting with a client, and I was gifted this rose" said Dom as he smiled.
"I see…" said Natasha.
"Was the client a woman?" asked Natasha as she looked at the rose and she heard Dom laugh.
"Why are you asking? Don't tell me that you are jealous my darling wife?" asked Dom as he laughed.
"Oh no, don't say nonsense Dom, it's not like that at all, and you know it, I'm only asking because gifting a client a rose is rather peculiar…" said Natasha.
"Well no, the client wasn't a woman, he was a man, he's actually a florist, and he owns a small business, he wanted to know if we would be able to export some of his flowers for him, it was actually a very good meeting" said Dom as he smiled.
"Ahh… I see" said Natasha as she scolded herself internally for thinking that it was a woman.
"Yes, so you don't have to be jealous" said Dom as he laughed.
"Oh ha ha very funny, I would never be jealous because of you" said Natasha as she laughed back at him.
"Whatever you say" said Dom as he smiled and he walked to his desk.
"Oh, you are going to work now, I should leave then" said Natasha.
"No you don't have to leave, you can stay if you want" said Dom as he smiled.
"But this is your office" said Natasha.
"I don't mind if you stay" said Dom as he smiled.
"Okay" said Natasha as she smiled and Dom smiled as he looked at his laptop and Natasha smiled as she looked at the rose, the gesture was sweet though.
Natasha put the rose away as she continued to read the cookbook when she heard Dom groan in annoyance.
"What's wrong?" asked Natasha as she looked at him.
"I forgot that tonight is an exclusive meeting for business owners" said Dom as he groaned.
"You don't want to go?" asked Natasha.
"I don't mind going, but I know that if I do, I won't be left alone at all" said Dom as Natasha laughed, she had thought that he was groaning because of something very serious.
"Oh I know, why don't you come with me? It's going to be dinner, and we can go together" said Dom as he smiled.
"Umm no, I don't like going to such gatherings, and besides, your invitation is so sudden, why don't you want to go alone?" asked Natasha.
"Well when I usually go to those things alone, I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but women won't leave me alone" said Dom as Natasha started to laugh.
"Natasha, I'm being serious right now, it's actually a very serious problem, I don't know why they look for me, or try to strike up conversations, it's honestly annoying" said Dom as he sighed.
"Oh and you are too nice to tell them off" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Yes I am, I do try to hint that I'm not interested, and that I have somewhere else to be" said Dom as Natasha laughed.
"Oh so you want me to come with you so I can ward off all those ladies?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"Exactly, if they see you with me, they won't come to talk to me, it's that easy, so what do you say Natasha?" asked Dom as he smiled and Natasha laughed.
"Oh I see, you only want to use me to scare of all your many admirers" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Don't call them my admirers, I don't want to be admired" said Dom.
"Aww you can't do that to your admirers, let them continue to admire you" said Natasha as she laughed.
"I don't think that's what my wife should say" said Dom as he laughed.
"Well what can I do? I can't shut their eyes so they can't look at you, you are handsome, and don't you dare get a big head because I said that" said Natasha
"It's normal for them to try to shoot their shot" said Natasha as she laughed.
"No don't say that Natasha, they shouldn't shoot anything, I'm married now, and my lovely wife will gladly answer to them" said Dom as he smiled.
"My answer is no, I'm not going with you" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Aww come on Natasha why not?" asked Dom.
"Well I don't like going to those kind of things, besides, you only want me there so I can chase away your admirers" said Natasha as she laughed.
"It's not like that at all Natasha, please come with me, I beg you" said Dom as he pleaded with her.
"I don't have the time for that, I don't feel in the mood to go out" said Natasha.
"Why don't you ask Lia, I am sure that she would love to go with you, and she would even do good job of keeping all those ladies away from you" said Natasha as she laughed.
"No she wouldn't want to go, even if she would do a good job, but she's not my wife, I want you to go with me" said Dom.
"So you can flaunt me out or what?" asked Natasha as she laughed.
"Yes, so I can tell them all that I have a wife, and she is right beside me, please Natasha, pleaseee, come on if you go with me I will do the laundry for a month" said Dom as he pleaded with Natasha and she laughed.
"Add doing the dishes for a month in there as well, and then we have a deal" said Natasha as she smiled.
"It's a deal" said Dom as he smiled.
"Oh alright fine, but don't expect me to wear a dress" said Natasha.
"You don't have to if you don't want to" said Dom as he smiled in happiness.
"And I won't have to follow you everywhere, exert some seriousness, and don't you dare use me as a shield" said Natasha.
"I won't I promise you" said Dom as he smiled.
"And buy me some chocolates" said Natasha as she laughed.
"Whatever you want, which chocolates do you want?" asked Dom.
"Dark chocolate please, the ones that you buy for Lulu, now those are wonderful" said Natasha as she smiled.
"You have a deal, I will get them for you, thank you Natasha" said Dom as he smiled and Natasha laughed as she shook her heat at him.
