Kapitel 109: The Forest of Death

I heard a question about Artemis, can he solo the entire world just himself?

Yes, I stated that Artemis could easily destroy the world if he so wished. Let's take place in our modern-day time and when asked how much time it would take him to completely destroy it, that it would take him approximately the same amount of time as it would take Godzilla to destroy Tokyo.

If he sent out a full force of his Machine Empire on their full potential, it would take similar to the Combine Empire invading Earth or a 7-hour War.

The reason why he never done this and instead using his own drones do all the work because his one of those lazy characters who never does their true power because of strange reasons or because logically might ruined his plan on recreating his earth.

Last question: Can his current body tank a Nuke? Especially Tsar Bomba?

Answer: What damage can a Nuke do to Omni-man?

Okay, enjoy the chapter.

The wind blew against Artemis' body. It crawled and found itself over the metal surfaces and the pale skin of each half.

There was silence in the forest. The looming clouds above provided the shade thaf encompassed the undergrowth below.

Artemis opened his eyes. Seemingly confused, he staggered to his feet and looked around.

"Where am I?" He said.

He remembered everything. He fought a goddess with his imagination and basically won. If they face in the real world, it might be more harder but he can might still win...

Probably.

He looked around to see what else was with him besides the roots that were exposed from the soil and the trees whose trunks stood at every direction.

There was a body. A girl's body. It was sat motionless against one of the trees. Artemis walked towards the corpse and leaned on it.

The woman was dead. She had pale skin and blue hair that shimmered no more. It was the goddess, whom Artemis fought. She was no longer a threat. Her eyes lacked the pupils they once had, her mouth wide open, welcoming the insects who wish to call it their home.

"You're now one with your creations," Artemis said.

Artemis felt relieved. Not only did he remember all of his dreams, he was also victorious. Defeating a goddess, a being of power that surpasses and confuses the laws of the known universe itself. If he was still human, he only got 0.00000...0003% chance of winning. But now the threat is no more.

However, he had another problem in his hands.

He was in the middle of nowhere. After the Siege of Zaticon City and facing the Goddess, most of his systems had been fried leaving only his enhanced senses and brain intact. He no longer was connected to the rest of his machines but was also reeling from the mental shock of his encounter with the goddess.

There was only one logical thing to do.

Walk.

But before he could take a walk, he first needed to know where to go.

His personal radar was busted and so, needed to find another means of mapping his location.

I could use my thrusters, he thought.

And so he tried.

His thrusters could barely lift him off the ground anymore. Crossing that off the list, he now needed something new.

Damn, he really does need some more upgrading. Like RF Shielding technique, upgrading the range of his control of the network in this world, Auto System Repairing, etc.

Using his physical prowess, he would jump high enough to see the surrounding his in without the obscuring of the trees.

He lowered his hip and his legs and jumped as high as he could.

He burst through the treeline and off into the sky, but he accidentally jump high enough to reach at the surface of the stratosphere in a split second. He might have overshoot it though.

He peaked at exactly 50 kilometers in the air before realizing his mistake.

"Too high," He said nonchalantly. As if he wasn't about to fall 50 kilometer from the sky.

He crashed into the forest floor tens of meters away from where he originally jumped, by the time he made impact to the ground, he creates a small building size crater. Damages? He seems to be perfectly fine and completely unscathed. But he also couldn't really control his legs as well as he could.

His physical state was bleak. His mind was not able to coordinate his body to it's optimal capacity and thus had these issues.

The battle with the goddess was not without a cost.

He managed to take a glimpse of the surrounding area though. It was an unfamiliar forested area where there was nothing of note on any horizon. He did uses his enhanced eyesight, seeing in a 100km radius around him but still, nothing.

He was indeed stuck in the middle of nowhere.

"Well, it could have been worse. A desert or a tundra," He told himself as he picked himself up from the ground.

Artemis then decided to just randomly pick whether to go north, south, west, or east.

He picked North.

He started travelling to the north in the hope's of finding any sort of civilization. Be it a human village or a beastman settlement. He needed information first and foremost.

Before deciding to leave, however, Artemis searched the Goddess' body for anything of value. Other than leaking a tremendous amount of magic, she was basically useless. Her blue dress was the only thing that held any kind of value due to its immense concentration of magic.

He stripped the dress from the goddess' body and began his journey north.

It was very uneventful in the first few hours of his journey. Over his travel, 12,000 wolves or other dangerous animals and monsters tried to kill him which was suicidal, Artemis easily killed them with each swipe. This forest has endless amount of them, he even encountered a 100 meter two wooden serpent with thousands of tendril vines, but he actually kill one of them with relative ease, unfortunately the smaller one just escape, but why would he care anyway.

No wonder there is no a single civilization around here. His body clock told him it was just an hour past noon and night time was still a couple hours away.

As he navigated through the forest, dark clouds began to form over the east and rain soon after began to fall.

It was a heavy downpour. Lightning struck while thunder rumbled after it. The dark clouds unleashed their watery cargo and flooded the forest.

"This is a god damn rainforest," Artemis said as his feet periodically would get stuck in the mud that kept getting deeper the longer and harder the rain poured.

The trees, though thick and numerous, still couldn't absorb all the water and puddles soon turned into little streams. Artemis noticed that the little streams had combined into a sort of mini river that went further east.

It was a sign. Using the streams as a sort of marker, there was bound to be a river if he followed it or maybe even a lake. Where there was a body of water, there very likely would be civilization.

He followed the stream that only got bigger as time progressed and the rain showed no signs of stopping. He had no choice but to use his Energy Swords to cut down the pesky tree trunks that got in his way.

Due to this, he left behind a trail of cut trees whose logs would forever be wasted, never to be exploited.

He found the body of water he had predicted and, it was a lake.

A darn huge lake, to be precise.

He walked along the bank and tried to find any trace of intelligent life. A small house, a boat, a settlement, anything.

"You seem to be lost, kiddo," A voice came from behind him. He turned to see who it was and found a small, bearded man holding a fishing rod.

Artemis found himself completely off-guard. He didn't even sense the man sneaking up behind him. He needed to fix himself up if he were to be as invincible as he was.

"Oi, can you speak?" He asked.

"Yes," Artemis replied.

The dwarf smiled. He was also soaked. His leather armor and tunic weren't any better at keeping him dry, in fact, they were holding the little man down.

"The name's Wart. I'm a dwarf who owns this piece of land and this lake over here," He explained before laughing proudly.

"Greetings, Wart. I seem to be lost, I woke up by myself in the forest and found myself on your land, I beg your pardon for the intrusion," Artemis said. He immediately resorted to diplomacy in the hope of gaining the trust of the dwarf.

The Dwarf smiled.

"Ah, that explains it then. I'm well known I'm these here parts. Why? Because I am these land's lord!" Wart explained with a chuckle.

"But there is no need for any formalities. I welcome you here as a traveler. Come, I will lead you to my estate," Wart proposed.

Artemis accepted. Well, there was no reason to decline.

"And also, welcome to the forest of death. Your are very lucky you survive in the forest. Monsters are completely everywhere over there."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In a beautiful cloudy place, in a tall building with pillars of gold and the mosaic floor. The Almighty Godfather and the rest of deities went silent after the Blue Goddess defeat.

"I told you she's no good. The theocracy is already destroyed, the metal demons are getting stronger the more they stay in that world if we don't stop these incarnates!"

"What about lets send our mighty army of angels facing against these demons!"

"Are you out of your mind? They have the same power as World-9682. Our angels is still not enough!"

Then the Almighty Godfather raise his hand, and silent was once again.

"The Old World have won this time but we still have other plans against them. All of you know that the old Demon Lord was about to be awoken. We still have other cards to face both of them. "Him""

"!!!"

"Godfather, this is outrageous! That abomination kills the 4th seat of the Council, his master. You think we should send it?!?"

"This is the most stupidest plan I ever heard"

"SILENT!! I already told you, we are already loosing, angels aren't enough, the other gods are still have their own problems and are not strong enough against this metal demons, if not for those rogue gods, I would've have my omnipotent power back. World-6195 is still the only world they invade in. We shall eradicate them before they get even stronger, if they do, they'll go to other worlds and then leads to Heaven itself,"

The other deities went silent again, they do don't have any choice left, they lost 1/3 powerful mages in this world. Other gods in the other worlds don't want their worshippers to be involve, they do saw the Machine Empire as a threat but they won't let their own creations to travel to another world, it'll ruin their religions, economy, and greed will take them, and other reasons.

"How long they should wake this creature up?"

"This abomination was powerful enough to defeat the God of the Underworld, its own master, even most of us, it'll be extremely hard to wake it up because of its complete Anti-Magic capabilities. It'll take a few months to wake him."
