Kapitel 5: Jump scare

Wayne would never say it out loud but torturing the man in front of him gave him a bit of ecstasy knowing he finally had the power to do what's needed and put these powered fucks in place.

After breaking his last rib Wayne stood back and watched the man perish under the immense amount of pain he was feeling.

"K-k-kill me plea-" the fat man couldn't finish his words cause he coughed up blood knowing if Wayne didn't kill him now, he would succumb to his injuries.

"Hey Helgor, you hungry?" Wayne mumbled with a devilish smile on his face.

<YESSSSS> as he said that the maw of Helgor appeared on Wayne's palm

"it'll be over very soon" Wayne whispered as he put his palm over the man's mouth.

The little strength the Fat man had exerted in trying to scream for Wayne can only guess that the pain was unimaginable. As for what Wayne was feeling at this moment was pure euphoria, he felt his soreness subsiding and even felt stronger, Wayne can only guess that he absorbed energy through Helgors feast.

<MORRRE> Helgor demanded.

" Pft learning some manners can go a long way." Wayne retorted.

"Hey isn't that the girl Erny was with?"

"Yeah aha haha, Hey Phil how much do you want to bet he fell asleep after she left"

Phil is the elastic man that was with the gang Kenny and their boss Rain. They've been traveling together for 5 months now and have already become infamous around the slums where they were offered goods upon entry in return for their safety and well-being. They didn't care too much but as long they weren't on a murdering spree the 7th circle wouldn't have to respond.

"Well let's set up camp by him so he doesn't get lost when he wakes up"

"sure thing boss" Kenny responded quickly and used his power to where he could control the movements of anything he touched.

Wayne went to hide in one of the nearby buildings in hopes to catch one of them on their own again. It didn't take long for he waited a mere 10 minutes before he can see the gang looking for one of their piggies.

"You sure he went this way?" Rain said annoyingly looking towards the other two.

Phil wanted to feel useful so he instantly used his powers to stretch his head looking around for Erny.

Wayne able to see what was going on formed a plan while shuffling around to get into position. Once their Helgors mouth became and to Waynes' side as he was for the timing to launch his plan into action.

Phil was planning to look at all the nearby buildings as for the building they were currently standing in front of the thought that's where Erny was. He was now going towards his fifth building which was a 9-story apartment now barely a 3-story building with most of the structuring destroyed.

"Come on you big boy, you shouldn't be hard to miss, just show yourself," Phil mumbled to himself as he ascended himself in the building checking each floor. As he reached the top floor, he looked to his right and then to his left and at that moment he and Wayne locked eyes.

[Abyssal Nightmare] was activated and Wayne put his hand on Phil's throat and Helgor had a field day with him being able to tear through his rubber skin like without any issue. Wayne chuckled to himself thinking how he was so helpless against these four and two were already dead.

He didn't hesitate and moved from his location to prepare for his other move.

"What the fuck" Rain and Kenny were dumbfounded to see Phil's body went from stiff to limp in a matter of seconds. They didn't check his body and looked in the direction his head was still in.

"Looks like fuckers want to play," Rain said with a smirk.

Kenny dropped all the supplies and took out all his weapons that were now encompassing his body, among the weapons were bullets, knives, and other sharp objects he found along his travels.

"If you can't kill them then you're useless to me," Rain said in a nonchalant tone.

Kenny took a gulp and quelled his fears as he moved forward following Phil's lifeless body.

Wayne couldn't help but hold in stifled laughter thinking how stupid these guys are.

"Do you not watch movies? everyone knows you don't go alone." Wayne thought as he proceeded to move to get the jump on him.

Kenny finally reached Phil's head and seeing a gaping hole on his neck made his worries deepen for someone to do this must be strong. Forward on he moved more slowly and shot at anything that made the slightest of noise.

"Hey, loser!" Wayne shouted while standing in the doorway of the building.

Kenny saw the figure and instantly remembered who he was. Kenny's mood lighten as he remember the kid didn't have any powers, but if that's the case why was Erny missing and Phil dead?

"Hey kid, you're brave for showing your face after what we did to your family but some people don't understand a warning when they are offered one," With his final words Kenny launched a few of his weapons towards Wayne.

Wayne expected this as he was ready to jump out the way, when he did and was out of the line of sight of Kenny he activated [Void Portal] to the building next to him. waiting for Kenny to finish his assault and verify if he was dead.

Once Kenny was finished, the outer walls were littered with bullet holes and knives. Kenny felt relieved as he was able to blow some steam off. The danger was far from gone but Kenny was unaware as he got closer to the building, Wayne teleported back and activated [Death Smoke], Kenny saw the mist creeping up around but felt no effects from it as he was looking on the floor to see Wayne's body missing.

Kenny was shocked and curious about where Wayne went, as the thoughts were running through his head the smoke got thicker and thicker by the second, leaving no visibility. Kenny wouldn't be too worried about this but now the smoke's intended effect was taking place as he was coughing up blood while the smoke was eating through his clothes and skin.

Kenny desperate to escape the smoke was trying to find the exit of the building but could see nothing but darkness around him so he just picked a location and started running.

WHAM

Kenny ran into the wall as the smoke continued its assault on his body he was now fully exposed to the smoke.

"Fight me like a man!" Kenny erupted in hopes of killing whoever made this smoke would show themselves.

Kenny started vomiting blood profusely making the latter drop to the floor dead in their mess.
