Kapitel 39: Saved By An Oath

Everyone gave each other an evident meaning.

Ingard narrowed his eyes, already having a bad feeling in his gut. 

And sure enough, the Crows had begun to sing. 

Very slowly, Elder Mu rose to his feet and faced Ingard righteously. The many other elders also stood, circling Ingard. 

They reached for their weapons with a cruel glint in their eyes. 

"You dare?"

Ingard's voice was calm. Yet, it oozed of murderous intent that choked the room. 

Too powerful!

Everyone felt their legs quake as the invisible fierce pressed them down. 

Because they were in the same sect, they had never faced their Sect Master in battle, only having a rough understanding of his true strength. 

But now, they knew just how deadly he could be!

And unlike the rest, Elder Mu, the 2nd dubbed Elder... Elder Layia, the 3rd Dubbed Elder, and 3 others, did feel the weight of his pressure but could still move and maneuver about for battle.
