Rowan pushed himself up on one elbow beside Wren where he sprawled so beautifully on the silvery-jade carpet of the grass. Suddenly he felt unbearably hot and exposed even though he was the one who was fully clothed.
"You're just saying that because of what happened earlier." He shook his head. "You don't really want me to—"
Wren draped one leg over Rowan's hips, angling himself for easier access. He guided Rowan's hand to the inside of his thigh and held it there. "Yes, I really do."
"I…I don't know if I can. What if I don't do it right?" Rowan's hand slid off its own volition farther up the back of Wren's thigh, betraying his true desire despite his hesitancy. "What if you don't like it?"
"Use your fingers on me and you'll see how much I like it. Don't you want to feel me from the inside? Don't you want to know how tight and hot I am for you?" Wren's eyes glinted in the shadow light.

There are just a few more "lighter" bits to this book before things take a turn for a while.
