Kapitel 159: At ease

I open my eyes and Tala is not next to me again. I am alone in the room. Last night, Lo slept with Griff last night, so waking up next to him feels empty. I looked around me for any sign of Tala, she wouldn't just leave the room without telling me anything. Checking the time, it is about eight in the morning. I don't even remember when I fell asleep last night. I guess with everything that has been happening and being back home, it is easier for me to fall asleep.

I didn't even worry about anything last night. I had fun with my best friend and once she passed out, I did the same. I hear a knock on my door and Lowell, and this makes me get up from the rumpled sheets. I see a smiling Lo as I open the door and he is dressed up and looks so refreshed.

"Is she still asleep?" he asks quietly.
