Kapitel 60: Forgive Me

[Justin's Diary Today]

      My eyes have been on the phone next to my hand, which is vibrating. I share the views of Mr. Storm, the clock on the wall in the meeting room then switches to my cell phone which is still vibrating beside my hand. For a split second, I waited for the right time, until finally, I grabbed my phone just to answer Mandy's call. My finger touched the screen until Mr. Storm cleared his throat softly.

      "Mr. Bedington, could you turn off your cell phone during the meeting?" he lowered his tone, causing several people to snap their heads at me spontaneously—including Daniel and Debora Miller who were not far from where I was sitting.

      "Sorry." I nodded obediently, stuffing my phone into my pocket without turning it off, letting it vibrate repeatedly. I held my breath, torn between answering Mandy's call or being kicked out of the meeting room which meant my collaboration with them ended at zero.
