Kapitel 43: Prom (a)

[Mandy's Diary at Senior Grade]

            "Prom! Is this really a prom?! Spring Flying?! Oh God seriously?!"

            My head suddenly turned in one direction when I heard Candice's scream that reached my place. I walked over in a rush to my blonde friend who was standing in front of a bulletin board with other students. My lips pursed sideways when I got next to Candice who was clinging to the bulletin board like a lizard, kissing the announcement poster over and over again.

            "Candice, come back to earth." I knocked on her head from behind, spontaneously making her back away and smiling brightly—ignoring me. Her eyeballs sparkled, gleaming like a princess who just found her prince. She pulled me closer, turning a deaf ear to the grumblings of the other students who had joined the crowd.

            "See! It's Spring Flying! It's rare for our principal to issue Spring Flying!" she shouted even more hysterically.
