Kapitel 22: MANU FAILS TO HIDE HIS FEELINGS
Throughout the journey, David kept quiet, making Celine, who saw him, immediately sigh. The girl had repeatedly tried to talk to him, but nothing worked.
"Bro David, are you going to continue like this?"
"I don't know what else to do, Bro David. I told you not to think too much about me, now I'm fine with you."
"Uncle David ..."
"Brother, come talk to me, don't be silent."
David, who had been driving with a gaze that never left the highway, immediately sighed. The man spoke making someone who was beside him curl the corners of his lips into a smile at what his sister had just said.
"What?"
"Geez, Bro David. After an hour, you finally want to talk to me again!"

"Bro David," Celine called, who was now looking at her brother with raised eyebrows.
"What?" David said softly.
"Actually, what have you heard from Bro Sehan to make you like this?"
The man who heard it immediately shook his head while sighing. While Celine who saw it bent her face so that now the girl who knew it immediately chuckled.
"It is nothing."
"Are you planning on not telling me?"
"Hm..."
"Why are you so hard on your sister?"
"Celine, you don't have to know everything. After all, you're still a kid to me. You better focus on what you want. I've already taken you away from that damned house, so I hope you'll follow my orders after this."
"Is this my brother?"
"Yeah, it's me. So you have to do what I say."
Celine was silent for a moment after hearing what the person beside her had just said, so now the girl who knew it nodded her head.
"What is wrong with you?"

"Brother is very different from the one I've known so far."
Hearing that made David immediately sigh, the man tried to calm his emotions so now he also pulled the car over before he decided to talk to his sister.
"I'm sorry, Celine. I'm just a little emotional after hearing what Sehan has been saying all this time about you."

"Sorry, if I had known about you sooner, maybe you wouldn't have been the victim of Daddy's violence."

"No," replied David.

"Certain."
"Who?"
David who heard it immediately ruffled his hair with excitement and a smile that never faded, making Celine, who knew this, chuckle in annoyance.
"Uncle David!"

"You ruined my hair!"
"Oh, yeah? All right, I'm sorry."
Meanwhile, Celine, who knew about this, immediately snorted in amusement before finally taking out a mirror and a comb to straighten her hair which had been messed up by her brother.

At this time a man was sitting alone while sipping a cup of coffee he had just made. While enjoying his solitude, suddenly the doorbell rang which made him turn his head towards the source of the sound.
"Oh, he's here."
Then he walked towards the main door of his house where he saw someone he knew so well standing in front of him now.
"Hey," said Manu smiling. "Finally you came too."
Not long after, David's brow furrowed after seeing an oddity that made a man in front of him speak.
"What's wrong? Who are you looking for?"
Manu who realized what he was doing made the man immediately stand back up straight while looking at the person in front of him at this time with a fairly loud sigh.
"N-no, it's nothing, then let's hurry in."
"Hm," said David while nodding his head, then turned to his car where there was his sister sleeping.
Arriving at the house, David is currently sitting on a sofa. The man was waiting for his friend who was going to the kitchen until a few moments later someone who was waiting for him had returned, making him who knew this immediately sighed.
Manu kept a glass of drink in front of David, then the man sat down in front of his best friend.
"Why are you visiting so late?"
"Should not?
"No."
David who heard the answer from a man in front of him immediately raised an eyebrow. Meanwhile, Manu, who saw him, closed his lips tightly and turned his face the other way for a moment before finally looking back at his friend.
"N-no, what I meant was … it wasn't like that."
"I'm busy, you should have understood my answer."
"Oh, yes, you're right. But isn't there still some free time to…?" Manu stopped what he was saying when he saw the expression on the person in front of him right now before finally clearing his throat and then again saying, "Forget it."
A man in front of him immediately sighed with his arms folded across his chest while shaking his head.
"Just be honest," he said. "You wanted to ask about my sister, didn't you?"
Manu who originally lowered his head immediately looked up with wide eyes. The man shook his head so that David who saw it chuckled.
"If not, make me believe what you say."
"Huh, never mind, it seems it's true that I can't lie to you."
"Of course," David said confidently.
A few moments later the sound of a girl calling the name of one of them made the two men immediately turn towards the open door.
There was Celine who was looking at him with a look so innocent that it made Manu, who had been seeing her, really excited. The man looked embarrassed, but he did his best to keep it from looking embarrassing.
Meanwhile, David who realized this already knew it, and it seemed that Manu failed to hide his misbehavior so that the man who saw it immediately shook his head with a faint smile.
"Bro David," Celine called. "Why did you leave me?"
David who heard it immediately looked back at a girl who was still silent in the doorway before the man finally got up from his seat.
