Kapitel 138: Chapter 138 (the resolution)

Alma stood there stiffly as she listened to the truth that Kenan told her. Death. That's was what she was scared of. The fact that the Moon Goddess made her only for her to die later on. It just didn't make sense -- how could she die? Why her? Why not someone else? Did she live a previous life and do bad things and now the goddess wants to use her new life to punish her? And of all people, she wanted to use Kenan, her mate?

Even though that Kenan was quite clear with his words, she was still befuddled.

"Alma... All these things that I told you is nothing but the truth and it is not my fault. I vg know why the Moon Goddess has chosen our fates to be this way but honestly, just like you, I am confused to and I have been living with this confusion everyday of my life." Kenan stated.

"No..." She nod her head in disbelief. "This is too much. This is too much. This is too..." She fainted and nearly fell to the ground but Kenan caught before she landed.
