Kapitel 2003: Returning to the Capital

Once everything was ready, the family set off in an orderly manner and took a flight back to the capital. Along the way, the three children did not cry or make a fuss. They leaned against the window curiously and kept looking out. When they made the trip to Country M, they had slept all the way due to the time difference.

After disembarking, Qiao Mei saw the Xia family members standing in a neat row at the arrival gate. This time, even Xia You had come along to pick Qiao Mei up.

However, Qiao Mei also discovered an uninvited guest among the big group of people. Kong Lu was hiding in the crowd behind the Xia family members. Xia He only had eyes for Deng Fan and did not notice him at all.

Kong Lu did not seem to have any intention of coming forward to greet Xia He. Qiao Mei kept quiet and pretended not to see him. She would discuss countermeasures with Xia He when they had some time later.
