Kapitel 150: Chapter 150: Ailetta Did the Thing

To the Queen, the oppressive thumping was if it was heralding the arrival of something far beyond her comprehension.

Slowly she turned, her movement was hesitant, the fear continuously layered upon her with each pulse of Noah's heart that her body wasn't reacting to her thoughts. The source of the noise made her attention to everything else negligible. Not only did she not realize that the giant manifestation she had confronted earlier was still very much "alive" even moments after Aieltta's death. She didn't notice the same monstrosity beginning to break itself down, its slime components seeping out from the grotesque creation, leaving the mutation as just an empty shell. 

What remained was a slime, how much larger than it had been during its initial summoning, at least four times its original size. Without missing a beat, the slime began to float toward the station, moving toward the very spot from which Ailetta had first emerged.
