Kapitel 104: The death of Red Bama part 8

Alex PVs

Yesterday, after visiting Grandma Lala in the hospital, I got in the car with Bob Lee and little Mary and we drove to the Blue Eye, where we stopped at Uncle Sean's house and he walked with us.

"Uncle Sean, it's been a long time!"

Sean looks at the people entering his room and says. "Five years to be exact, you ungrateful brat!"

"Calm down Uncle Sean! You are being very unfair, in my defense I kept in touch!

Bob Lee is here too, look!" Seeing Uncle Sean scolding me, I quickly turned my attention to Bob.

Sean looks at Bob Lee and says. "You haven't seen me in a year, has something happened?"

Bob Lee looks at me and says. "No, Uncle Sean! Unlike a certain someone, I still have a conscience. I couldn't come recently because I was on a mission, I was a shooting instructor for the Marine recruits."

Uncle Sean nodded and said. "Of course of course. You still have some regard for this old man, much better than your older brother who only sends a letter or text on his cell phone once a year.

How is little Maria?"

Bob smiles and says. "Look at her over there, talking to Linda.

I knew you were going to scold Alex and I chose to leave Mary with Linda, just in case you said something inappropriate to her.

"As always Bob Lee, you are still considerate of me. Good thing I didn't curse anyone. Saved my old face in front of little Mary."

I looked at this shameless duo and said. "Seriously, you're not going to stop, are you?"

Bob looks at me and says. "Seriously man, one message a year, and you still say you keep in touch?"

Sean looks at me and says. "I'm not your fucking social security! For you to send me proof of life once a year!"

Seeing them talking like that, I kind of feel embarrassed. "Sorry Sean, it's just that too many things happened and I prioritized things other than family. It was a mistake that won't be repeated."

Sean nodded and said. "I'll only forgive you if you promise to text me a week."

"Okay, deal done!"

"Well then, you're forgiven. Now tell me, what are you guys doing here?

Don't lie saying you came to see me, I'm not that naive."

I smiled wryly and said. "Well... Not wanting to sound hypocritical, we're here to see you, but that's just one of the reasons we came to town.

We came to see the whole family and introduce them to our little princess.

Do you want to accompany us?"

Bob looks at me strangely and says. "It's true Uncle Sean, you are more than welcome."

Sean nodded and said. "I'll go with you, but don't take me for a fool, I know no one here has come to this town to find me.

I bet you only remembered me when you were already here, the conscience of one or both weighed, and here we are."

I looked at Uncle Sean with a hurt look and said. "Do you think that about us, who only show up when we want something?"

"No more bullshit, kid! If you think I was born yesterday and you can fool me with this crappy theater, you better get your horse out of the rain.

Now enough nonsense and let's get down to business, are you going to the cemetery?"

I looked at the two of them and little Mary talking to Linda and said seriously. "Yes. It's been many years since I've seen Grandma Mary, I think it's time to face my ghosts from the past and remove this knot in my heart."

Sean is surprised by my words and says. "Fine, but before we start a family reunion, how about lunch, you know I haven't seen this idiot in five years and so have you?"

I looked at Bob and we communicated through the eyes and only then did I say. "No problem, just that we have to leave tomorrow, Bob is auditioning to work in national security and I'm opening a branch of my company in Dallas."

Sean nodded. "It's fine with me, I just want to spend time with you guys. Shall we go to the usual spot?"

After leaving Uncle Sean's office, we went to a restaurant downtown. When we got there we started talking to Uncle Sean, telling him the news of our lives and what we did during the time we were apart until we finally got to the current affairs. "You mean Bob Lee is going to take a national security test and you're a millionaire who owns several companies and even a bank?"

I shook my head and said. "That's right, I already mentioned to you that I owned a company."

Sean gives me a dry look and says. "Yes, you said a long time ago that you owned a computer company, but I didn't think you were the SkyNet conglomerate.

You're a damn millionaire!"

I smiled and spoke arrogantly. "~ I'm a billionaire you ignorant commoner, watch how you talk or you might end up bad~"

Bob Lee. "Hahaha... Look at you, Uncle Sean!"

Little Mary. "~ Granny Sean got bad..."

After some banter and small talk, Sean shares some ironic gossip. "Hey, do you remember Red Bama, the slaughterhouse guy?"

I looked at Bob Lee and asked cautiously. "Yes, I heard that he now owns a large company related to meats and meat products."

Bob Lee nodded and said. "I also know who you guys are talking about, recently there have been some scandals related to him and his family."

Sean then said. '' What you may not know is that none of this is false, as a defense attorney I have evaluated all documents related to the company's irregularities in the city and the documents match, that is, at least here in the city everything that the documents posted on the internet says it's true."

Bob Lee looks at Sean in surprise and says. "What are you planning to do, I can't believe you did it just out of curiosity."

I looked seriously at Sean and said. "I agree with Bob, don't tell me you want to file a lawsuit against Red Bama on behalf of the city?"

Sean nodded as he looked at Mary eating and having fun on her cell phone and then said. "The city suffered a lot from Red Bama's greed, I just want to help people get justice, you don't know what I found out about Bama industries.

There are dozens of cases of irregularities, violations of safety laws, not to mention fatal accidents, sexual harassment, and even rape cases."

Bob Lee was outraged by this information and said. "You make an anonymous report and forget about it, this guy is very dangerous.

I don't want anything to happen to you!"

"Sorry Bob, I won't stop."

Seeing that these two are going to fight soon I positioned myself. "I think if Uncle Sean wants to do this, he should do it."

Bob is shocked and says. "Brother! How can you let Uncle Sean take such a risk?

"I've just met this stubborn old man too long to know that if he's put something in his head, no one can change his mind.

But Uncle Sean, you have to promise me to wait at least two weeks.

Bob Lee's eyes lit up and he said. "You're right, that old man is more stubborn than a mule.

I'll let you take care of it. "

Sean is suspicious and asks. "Why do I have to wait two weeks?"

I smiled and said. "Since you are going to fight a powerful man, I have to help.

These two weeks are for me to finish my business and focus on yours."

Sean because he didn't find anything wrong with my words and so he thanked me. "Thanks, Alex, just you for supporting me at times like this."

"Alright, I feel like Red Bama's days are numbered..."
