To save her daughter from him, he did not stop the spread of Ethan's location to Ethan's enemy. Even when Yue Kehong was a grand marshal and had a huge army at his disposal, Ethan was harmed, as was her child.

Right then, the locket from Yue Xin's neck was taken away by Joshua. It was then she saw a tiny red light flickering behind it. 

It was a tracker. 

"Mr Alexander won't let any danger linger around his descendants. The fact that you are alive is in itself a miracle. So, please choose." Joshua said and threw the locket on the floor, violently smashing it. 

"What if I choose my parents?" Yue Xin asked. 

"You will be left on this island until your dad comes to your rescue… but, you can never see Sarah or Ethan."
