The throne room was in complete silence. Everyone present was attentive to the words of the woman before the king and the second queen, who watched her intently.
— And then? — asked the second queen, breaking the silence. Curiosity shone in her eyes, which looked like two emeralds. Karina had always loved stories of strong women and heroes of the people. Hearing the story of a woman who had risen to be the heroine of the people was something wonderful. — What happened after you killed the men?
Luana looked at the queen, who was nursing the child in her arms, and then at the king. — I don't think your majesty will want to hear the rest of this story... — she seemed to seek permission.
