“Wake up,” Phebe yelled, pulling the blanket off of me.
“What the he**?!” I said, squinting up at her blurry figure looking down at me from my bed.
I lunged for the blanket, attempting to take it back but was too slow. She retracted her hand out of my reach, her head shaking.
“What time is it?“ I asked groggily, rubbing my eyes.
“Late. Everyone’s up except you. You have five minutes or I’ll drag you out of bed myself,” she warned before leaving my room and closing the door behind her.
Groaning, I crawled out of bed and headed to the bathroom for a quick shower. After I got dressed, I left my room to meet the others.
“Would it kill you to wake up on time for once?” Sarai complained, glaring at me.
“Sorry,” I croaked, shooting her an apologetic look before heading towards the food. My heart sank, noticing all the meat had been eaten.
“Wuro.”
I turned at the sound of Phebe’s voice, my face lighting up when I saw a plate in her hand filled with meat.
