Eleonore’s POV

We began preparing for the summoning a day later. I had barely slept the night before, and I was beginning to feel my skin vibrate from the lack of sleep I had been getting as of late. The twins had tried their best to console me, but it was no use when I had so many things on my mind.

I didn’t want to waste any more time than we already had, and, according to Kaveh, the Eclipse would happen tonight. I still didn’t know what he had fully meant by the things he had said, but I did know that he wasn’t lying about wanting to help me. For now, that was all I needed.

I was going to be getting the answers I needed and I was going to be fixing the problem I didn’t create. I was ready for peace, I was ready to end this all.
