Kapitel 87: Face-off

As Rody rushed out through the broken fence, he saw that Meghan was right. Quite a few Deathless were closing in on them from all directions. Some were further away than others but shambled along towards the poolside nonetheless. The other three exited the pool and stood next to him. They looked around the vicinity, seeing the slow approach of the Deathless.

"Fuck…" Ray said, his eyes darting around for an opening, "These things come out of nowhere."

"What do we do?" Rody asked, "I don't think we can avoid a fight anymore."

Ray nodded, "If we can't avoid fighting then we'll have to take on as few as possible." He replied and pointed towards four Deathless that were walking down the exit ramp. "Four of us, four of them. Let's take them out quickly and climb the ramp to get to F block."

"I… I didn't bring my weapon." Leon said, looking nervous.

"What?" Ray asked, "You came downstairs without a weapon? Where's my cricket bat?"
