“Would you like to press charges, my love?” Ryan asked Lia as he held her trembling body in his arms and kissed her forehead.

“I just want to go home!” Lia replied. Pressing charges would require more complicated proceedings she was not prepared to go through. However, she wanted Bobby to leave her alone.

“We can’t just act like this did not happen, Lia! They are taking him to the police station now, and I think we should follow them, and you can give a statement. My driver can take your car back home, and we will use my car to drive to the police station,” Ryan suggested and Lia nodded.

“How did you know where to find me?” Lia asked as Ryan drove them to the police station.
