Lia drove fast and rather dangerously to her parents’ house. There were some answers she knew could only be obtained from where everything transpired. Her parents were not tech-savvy. They couldn’t have possibly set up accounts and pretended to be her to ruin her relationship with Ryan.
As she drove down the street leading to her house, she saw the man who had a long time ago claimed to be having an affair with her. Lia stepped on the brakes, and the car came to a sharp halt. She jumped out of the car and charged towards the man.
“Mr. Gopal!” Lia called out as she walked towards the old man. He was shining his shoes and stopped to peer at Lia from above the rim of his eyeglasses.
“Liandra!” he replied and gave her a yellow toothy grin. Lia frowned and stood in front of him.
“Seven years ago, you came to my house and claimed that I was having an affair with you! Why did you do that?” Lia demanded.
