Kapitel 33: Lorcan and Astrea (four)

"Lorcan have you lost your mind!?" Emperor Henrick bellowed at his son's absurd remark.

"Entire empire will be sent into turmoil if the truth about your identity is revealed"

"So?"

The emperor's jaw ticked hearing his son's nonchalant reaction to such an important issue.

He closed his eyes trying to calm his nerves, "You are not leaving Nethilor and that is final"

Lorcan stared at his father and suddenly burst into laughter, "Do you think I'm asking your permission to leave this place?" he shook his head with a smirk on his lips, "I'm just informing you about my decision due to an obligation between father and son"

Henrick felt his heart heavy at his son's words. Lorcan was merely five when the emperor learned about his son being the demon lord. But even after finding out the truth about his identity, Henrick never stopped loving his son. His beloved wife, consort Lilianne gave up on her empress' seat to take care of their son.
