Lewis put down the small duck in his hands, he looked at William with his big, round eyes. This was the first time his father had looked at him so seriously.
"How has it been these years living with me?"
Lewis was being asked such an emotional question for the first time and he was actually a bit shy about it.
His father was always very lax with him, not even caring if he didn't go to school. Lewis thought that he had lived a very free life in these five years, so much so that he felt blissfully lost.
