Kapitel 229: Chapter 229: Give Up

William Griffith didn't bother arguing with her. After all, he would rather she be a bit naive.

Around eleven o'clock at night, William finally removed the IV needle from Cherish Turner.

Although it was late, William still prepared some simple and delicious food to help Cherish regain her strength.

"Open your mouth."

William held out the stew in front of Cherish and fed her himself. She felt a little embarrassed and wanted to eat on her own, but William insisted on feeding her. Unable to win the argument, Cherish finally let him feed her, spoonful by spoonful.

However, Cherish felt that her previous misunderstanding of William was her own fault. While eating, she kept glancing at him with her small eyes, wanting to say something but too embarrassed to do so.

"Is there something on my face?"

Cherish shook her head quickly and didn't dare look at him again.

William chuckled softly and didn't say anything more.
