Cherish Turner looked at the scene in front of her and hesitated for a moment before awkwardly saying, "I came out to get some juice for Lewis."
William Griffith's eyes were calm as he helped Grace Harper steady herself. Grace, in turn, tried to smooth her slightly disheveled hair and apologized, "I just twisted my ankle, and William was helping me. Cherish, please don't misunderstand."
Cherish quickly waved her hands, "No misunderstanding, no misunderstanding! How could I misunderstand? I know what kind of person William is; he's not like that, right?" Cherish then grabbed William's arm tightly with one hand, smiling as she asked.
William looked at his arm, held tightly by Cherish, and then at her possessive expression as she regarded Grace. It was as if she was telling Grace that William was her man, Cherish Turner's!
Well, this feeling wasn't bad, to be honest.
