Kapitel 114: Why should I be afraid?

"So is it really true that Meridon was bought by Mr. Akira Kanbe?" 

"I wish I could answer that more confidently. To me, there's no doubt about it." 

The interviewer looked to be slightly confused with this response and immediately asked, "Since you're working with Meridon now, wouldn't you have insider info? Are you not afraid to hold things back from us?" 

His tone was one of playfulness and it was a question that was supposed to sound light-hearted. 

"I'm not the one with skeletons in my backyard so why should I be afraid?" Akira didn't have the same light-hearted joking tone, rather, his tone was serious, almost sounding as if he was revealing critical information. 

"Sounds like juicy gossip," The interviewer chuckled as he tried to keep the positive atmosphere, "Would you like to elaborate on that?" 

Akira let out a fake smile that could be judged from a mile away as he spoke, "No. I don't dare put my life in danger."
