"I'm not lying," Zaelek affirmed. 

"You're definitely lying! I can see it in your eyes! You're easy to read!" 

With a long sigh, Zaelek closed the book for the second time and kept it aside as he looked at Akira and spoke, "Okay, I'll tell you. I have heard of this rumor... That we have been cursed to live our lives as Grim Reapers. However, nothing has been proven. I only remember a life where I was always a Grim Reaper. I did not become such an entity, I was naturally born as one. That's the truth for me." 

"So you forgot about your previous life as a human!" Akira immediately exclaimed, suddenly feeling excited for some reason.
