Kapitel 162: The bridge

Tristan braced himself and looked at her. "It's nice having your eyes on me," he stated as he began to pick up his cutleries. "This is a traditional food," he mentioned.

"It looks like it," she eyed him because he could see through her.

"You are the first I feel this comfortable with after such a long time and I want to say thank you," he uttered without looking at her. Liliana considered it to be a lie and his way of trying to persuade her so she didn't say anything. She just bent her head to start eating.

Eating together was silent, she tried to ignore him by looking at everyone around them. She scrutinized the restaurant and smiled. It looked like a place built out of nature, with woods everywhere and there wasn't any window. There were just spaces around making people come into the restaurant from any part.

"Are you uncomfortable with me?" Tristan noticed how she tried to ignore him.
