Kapitel 38: Chapter 38

It was ten in the evening when she decided to call off her snooping inside her game room and turned off her computer.

She went to her bathroom and brushed her teeth before she collapsed tiredly to her bed. It wasn't long before she drifted off to sleep. Having no idea if she only dreamed of it when she thought she saw Zeronis standing at the foot of the bed, looking at her. Half of his face was lighted dimly with a lampshade on the desk at her bedside.

Even his footsteps came a little muffled by the Persian rug under the bed as he bridge his distance from her. And then he bent down, the hotness of his breath seemed real to her temple as he kissed the spot tenderly, tracing his lips to the bridge of her nose then down to her lips.

Maria swore she could feel the softness of his lips to hers but then again, it was just a dream...

"It's nice to see you again."

"Zero...?" she called out sleepily and the man in her dream let out a soft chuckle.
