Once they arrived at the shopping mall, Henry Russell took the initiative to hold Charlotte Cooper's hand.
Caught by surprise, Charlotte was momentarily stunned but soon tried to pull her hand away.
"We're in the mall, not at home," Charlotte said, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
Feeling her attempt to withdraw her hand, Henry tightened his grip on her hand even more.
"No need to be scared," Henry said in a calm and fearless tone.
"But..." Charlotte wanted to say something, but Henry cut her off.
"You're my girlfriend. What's wrong with me holding my girlfriend's hand?" Henry stopped walking, and looked at Charlotte seriously.
Seeing that Henry said so, Charlotte stopped avoiding him, lest she appeared pretentious.
"You know, Henry, I've imagined many times in my heart walking hand in hand with you like this in a shopping mall," Charlotte said, her tone suddenly excited.
"Hmm, everything you want will come true one by one," Henry assured her.
