Grace Taylor felt her heart sink. She had been planning for so long, and now she was directly rejected by Charlotte Cooper.

Her face was a bit grim, but she still held up a smile and said to Charlotte, "Thank you so much, Charlotte."

Though she spoke these words, for the rest of the time, Grace did not say a word. Nobody knew what she was thinking.

Charlotte and Hannah Walker simply ignored Grace's reaction and carried on with their own conversation, laughing and chatting.

After they left the beauty parlor, Hannah softly reminded Charlotte.

"The director messaged me awhile ago to come back to the set, did you get the message?"

Charlotte had not been paying attention to this earlier. After Hannah reminded her, she finally took out her phone to check her messages.

Indeed, the director had messaged her as well.

"Grace we need to go take care of some work, let's call it a day and hang out some other time when we're free!"
