Kapitel 228: Chapter 228: Dreamland

The weather was dry and sunny, making it an ideal time for travel.

Despite her precautions, Susan Hawk found herself ambushed by reporters as soon as she disembarked from the plane. Her face and head were tightly covered with a scarf, and she wore dark sunglasses, but to no avail. The reporters still managed to catch her off guard.

Her phone had been buzzing nonstop, and, impatiently, she grabbed it. There were more than a dozen missed calls from various people, all asking about Charlotte Cooper.

The reporters crowded around her, demanding answers: "Why have all of Charlotte Cooper's activities been stopped?"

After some thought, she replied with patience: "Charlotte Cooper has suspended her work due to an unhealed injury and is currently recuperating."

Some reporters were more direct: "Can we interview Charlotte Cooper in person?"

Even some fans amongst the crowd questioned: "Why doesn't she show her face? Does she have something to hide, or has her condition worsened?"
