Mason shook his head, "My task is to protect you."

Charlotte furrowed her brow, flashed a conflicted look, said she understood and turned back to her bedroom.

Her right eyelid was twitching, so she tore off a small piece of white paper and put it on her eyelid, trying to keep it from twitching further.

At exactly midnight, Charlotte was thinking about what happened to Henry when her phone suddenly rang.

She looked at Wind Austin's number on the screen and asked, "Wind, where is Henry Russell?"

"Henry is working overtime," Wind answered almost without thinking.

Charlotte frowned; Henry had never turned off his phone while doing overtime, even during surgery. After the surgery, he would personally call her instead of having Wind send a simple message.

"Really, Henry is indeed working overtime, and he may continue to work overtime for the next few days. The hospital has been quite busy with many surgeries recently."
