"I don't want to make a fuss, but you've been badmouthing me. An apology should be in order." Charlotte Cooper said looking at Linda Davis.

Ella open-mouthed in surprise. Lately, Linda Davis had been acting like a saint on set, secretly degrading Charlotte Cooper when she didn't deserve. It befuddled Ella nothing serious was done to her other than demanding an apology, considering it was a rare chance to reprimand her for her offensive actions.

However, Charlotte Cooper gave Ella a reassuring look.

Linda Davis glanced at the people around her and reluctantly lowered head, "Sorry."

"What did you say? I didn't hear you clearly," Charlotte Cooper frowned as she spoke.

"I said, I'm sorry."

"Speak louder, haven't you eaten?" Charlotte Cooper asked coldly.

Although Linda Davis was well aware that Charlotte Cooper was doing this deliberately, she had to bite the bullet. Raising her voice, she said, "I said I'm sorry! I shouldn't have spoken bad about you behind your back."
