Kapitel 83: Chapter 83: I Will Take Good Care of Him

Henry Russell and Charlotte Cooper exchanged a glance, pushed open the door, and saw Olga Johnston chatting with Lucas Carter inside.

Seeing them come in, Lucas revealed a smile, "You're here!"

"Yes. How are you feeling?" Charlotte asked with concern.

"Pretty good."

The two walked to the bedside, Olga Johnston's face looked a little unpleasant, barely greeting them and unwillingly making room for the two of them.

"We're here to pick you up when you're discharged."

Charlotte glanced around and didn't see any of Lucas's family members.

"No one from your family came?"

"Yeah, my parents went abroad to attend an academic conference, and my sister has classes."

Charlotte nodded, recalling their attitude towards Lucas that day and guessing that Lucas probably didn't want them there.

Henry Russell handled Lucas's discharge procedure and prepared to take him home.
