Hax enjoyed the sight of the street.

He tried a couple foods too, and bought some for his guards. The seller and other consumers were nervous around him, so they let him cut the line. Of course, he did not want to be seen as tyrannical so he stays in line with his two guards.

The seller was even afraid to receive money from him. A few times, they refuse to take money until Hax forced it in their hand.

As much as the bad rumor about him spread, Hax was still the leader of the Rebellion Army. And the first norm that could create weapons that they very much needed.

And the very reason why these merchants could gather here.

Now that he thought about it… Hax did not collect any taxes at all. None of the cultivators actually collect taxes. Gold coins were very much dirt to them since they don't have to pay if they want something from the norms. Want something done? Then whipped these weak and defenseless people until they get it done? Want nice food? Whip! Want a good room? Whip!
