"I said okay, I will be your boyfriend" Alex repeated in a loud voice so she wouldn't find such an excuse again.

"No, after that, I want to hear it," Becky persisted, moving her face closer to Alex.

Alex stared at her face which was just a few inches away from his face, he wanted to move away but zero told him not to, he could only sigh in defeat.

"That you are the prettiest girl in the entire school?" Alex asked.

Becky's face brightened when Alex repeated the line, she sat upright and looked at him with loving eyes, eyes that could convey much more than words.

Alex was surprised a bit, that gaze had been a signature gaze of his mom, she always looked at him like that, when did Becky suddenly develop the dotting disease??

'It sure seems like she had loved me for like.... forever? ' Alex thought to himself.
