Kapitel 140: In my bed

After the doorman at Becca's condo told Nicholas, that Becca has not been home in days, Nicholas got back into his car and drove straight to his parent's house. By the time he arrived at his parent's home, he saw it was already too late to see his mother. He knew that even if his mother was pretending to be sleeping before when he called her, she would surely be sleeping by that time that he arrived

He wasn't thinking straight before, otherwise, he would have just driven straight to his own house and then come to see his mother the following day. 

"Well, it's too late to turn back now," He said under his breath as he waited for the security check on his car to be done and the automatic security gate to open for him.
