Mariela's POV

"Wow! I haven't seen you being sweet with your husband, and I could tell you look great together, Ella, and I am so happy for you," Angela said. I was grinning at my sister while we were at the restroom fixing ourselves, and I could see my reflection in the mirror that I was blushing.

"My husband doesn't like PDA, my dearest little sister, and I am shocked when he acted so weird this morning," I responded, seeing a mischievous grin on her face.

"What is that smile supposed to mean, Angel?" I asked, but she only shook her head.

"It was nothing, Ella, and I am just happy for you and Archer; I thought you were only marrying Archer because of his money." My sister said, and my face fell; I am so allergic to that line, but I couldn't show my sister that I was upset because of what she said. And I wanted to tell my sister that once, I used Archer's love for me to save her.
