Kapitel 102: Impossible Task

Mariela's POV

The guard on duty was hesitant to let me in, but when I showed him my ID, his facial expression suddenly changed, and he widely opened the gate without reluctance. And after paying the taxi fare, I walked towards the front porch, and it took me a while before I got the courage to knock on the massive door.

The Butler opened the door for me, and he asked me to wait while he called his master. And I was fidgeting as I waited for Archer to come out. My back was on the main door since I was looking at the extensive lawn that surrounds his house like their mansion in Minglapolis.

"Mariela? What are you doing here?" Archer asked, and I could feel my limbs shaking; I composed myself and tried to hide my nervousness as I swirled around and gave Archer my sweetest smile and my heart summersault when I looked at his handsome face.
