Kapitel 666: Insisting Guild Master
No one in history has ever ignored and flat-out rejected any Guild Masters ever since the Adventurer Guild was established which was basically at the start of Nightingale, no one has ever been as bold as she was. But now they have actually seen someone who has ignored and even rejected the Guild Master and that someone is even Vincess who is considered one of the most powerful current Guild Master, even the Royal Family has to show some respect towards her.
But even with all of that, Vincess remained calm, and she even felt happy inside because this was the kind of conversation she was hoping for. Ever since she rose up to fame, everyone started treating her differently as all of them were simply afraid that they might offend her, but coming from the slums she was used to this kind of talk to the point where it was almost hard for her to get offended. Unless someone has really said something bad to her then it would be an entirely different matter.
Every day for her was pain and nothing but sadness because she always felt out of place wherever she went, and even if more than a hundred years had already passed ever since she took the title of the Guild Master, she still wasn't used to everything. Even though she has always tried telling people that they can address her as if she were a normal person, it only worked for a couple of weeks before it went back to them acting all formal with her again.
"Wait! Before you leave, Lady Yuki. Can you please spare some time for me, I would like to invite you for some lunch." Under everyone's shocked eyes, Vincess suddenly grabbed Yuki's arm to stop her, and from that moment on, no one knew what would happen next.
They already have a clear idea that Yuki is somewhat germaphobic and it means that she hates it when people touch her as they personally saw it with their own eyes when she was trying out to be an Adventurer, so seeing the Guild Master holding her because she wants something from her.
"First of all… can you please let me go? I don't like it when some random people touch me and secondly… if you want something to tell me, you don't need to do it in a formal setting like this where you want to invite me, just say it directly to me, or if you want you can write me a letter. Though if you really don't want people wanting to know what you want to tell me, then go to my house." Yuki said as she gently removed Vincess hand away from her and it was clear to everyone that she was irritated as she took out a sanitizer and used it in her arm and hands.
After sanitizing her hands, she wore her gloves again and looked directly at Vincess. Even with her mask on, Vincess could feel the coldness beneath it making her shiver, but that didn't scare her, instead, it only made her want to talk to her more because she finds her more interesting now than ever.
"Please… Can you please get some lunch with me, even if it is just for today? In return I will do anything for you, of course, it has its limits. But let's say that you want something from the Royal Family or want some important information that you can't get normally, I will help you get it." Vincess now sounded desperate and it just shocked everyone even more shocked.
This was the first time they had ever seen something like this, the all-powerful Vincess was actually begging someone to have dinner with her. This made all of them think that whatever she wanted to talk about with Yuki was confidential and highly important and this made all of them envious while some began to look at Yuki as if she was a different person.
If she was so powerful that she could even make a Guild Master beg for her without even doing anything, it shows how powerful she was, no matter if it was in terms of strength or just overall.
"Did you really think that I'm that kind of person, where someone would easily persuade me just because I can get something great in return? You are greatly mistaken, I will not repeat myself again. I do not care who you are, and if you want something from me, don't go up to me in random moments like this. Send me a letter, or better yet, you can come to my house. You are the one who needs something from me and not the other way around." Yuki said coldly as she turned around and left the Guild.
Everyone thought that Yuki would have already agreed by now because that kind of offer was something not everyone could have, but she still declined her, and everyone thought that if it was any other person, they would agree almost immediately. But to think that someone would actually reject that kind of offer was something no one would be able to think of as even any Royal Family member would accept that.
Vincess who got rejected again was shocked now as she had the same thought as everyone, but now it seemed that she was wrong. Even if she has a high position in this Kingdom, it seems that it doesn't matter in front of Yuki.
"She doesn't care who I am… maybe, maybe we can truly be friends if she's like this. She ignores everyone and even if they are someone with a high standing, it seems that the intel that I got from the prince is actually true… She warned every single Noble and even made them indebted to her." Vincess smiled and without even saying anything more, she began running with the intent of catching up to Yuki.
"Alright… then I'll take you up on that offer then, Lady Yuki. So can I please get on your ride, because you are going home, right?" Vincess asked as soon as Yuki just got on the Black Light and this stunned her causing her to stop whatever she was doing to look at Vincess.
But soon after, she got over her shock, she then removed her mask before placing it beside her. Yuki then pushed a button to open the passenger seat, she then just signaled for Vincess to go in which she happily did and it didn't take long for her to get comfortable inside, it was probably one of the most comfortable seats she had ever sat on.
"I didn't expect the Guild Master to be so bold… but it's fine, since you already came up here, how can I refuse?" Yuki chuckled as she began to set up the Black Light and everything was seen by Vincess she thought that her head was going to explode due to how many buttons and configurations were Yuki doing at that moment making her completely astonished.
"Brace yourself, Guild Master, I know that you are strong and can travel at the speed of light, but vehicles are different, and I'm sure you already know that," Yuki said as she began controlling the Jet, but at this point they were hovering in the air.
Just as Vincess opened her mouth to ask why, she felt her whole body being thrown back to the chair like some otherworldly force was hitting her body.
