Days passed like flowing sand…
Yang Kai kept using his newly formed Immoral Taiji Secret Art and started cultivating from scratch.
The only advantage he had was the never-ending supplies of corpses giving him unlimited demonic Qi and the Yang Qi treasures he already had were enough for him to cultivate from nothing to at least Separation and Reunion.
He cultivated non-stop and survived by eating beast flesh.
Raw and disgusting.
But better than being fed countless worms down his stomach that ate him from inside.
Yang Kai gained more and more mastery of Immortal Taiji Art and also made a few adjustments here and there. He also created a small technique in his free time.
The base of that technique was the sound transmission technique used by Old Demon. The only disadvantage this technique had was the condition to use it was to have a Divine Sense.
Yang Kai adjusted the technique to his personalization and used his already present Divine Sense thread attached to Old Demon to at least talk to him without speaking.
One month was soon coming to an end.

Yang Kai had bypassed more than 2 major realms in that one month. It seems like an impossible task to do.
He was only able to do it because his resources were of True Foundation Rank which was the difference between heaven and earth. The demonic energy and resentments of 5th Grade beasts were much higher than what he could absorb at the current stage but the Wudao cultivation system let him absorb it without any difficulties.
Another advantage he had was the experience of breaking through those realms making the thin layer of bottleneck disappear entirely.
He was now at the 2nd stage of Separation and Reunion!
[Old Demon!]
Yang Kai tried his newly created technique to call Old Demon by his side as he felt that it was time to get out of seclusion and finally have a few moments to enjoy life.
Old Demon who was guarding the entrance of the cave was shocked by the sudden voice in his head. It was a voice he knew but it just wasn't possible.
He had always been using the sound transmission technique to talk with Yang Kai or anyone else for that reason because he didn't have a mouth to begin with. The sound transmission technique of Yang Kai really changed his worldview.
He rushed inside the cave, making the two beauties look at each other strangely as if asking about his weird behaviour.
Old Demon rushed inside and saw Yang Kai being fit and fine. The only thing that was out of place was the strong stench of blood and corpse making this place look like a torture room but Yang Kai had blood stains all over his body and bite marks could be seen on the flesh of the monster they last sent.
Old Demon was dumbfolded
"!!!!"
He had a slight hunch that Yang Kai wanted to use demonic technique but the change in Yang Kai was too big.
He could feel the killing aura from his body faintly. He also felt a pure Yang Qi from his body. It was weird for both the 2 subparts of the universe to exist together in anyone.
"What is the situation outside?" Yang Kai asked while biting the heart of a jackal-type beast.
"huh" Old Demon wasn't really woken up from the shock and didn't respond to his question
[I AM ASKING A QUESTION OLD DEMON!] Yang Kai shouted in sound transmission
Old Demon instantly regained composure and started explaining
"The people other than Zi Mo who were from Tian Lang Dynasty have already gained control of all the participating disciples. They are trying to gain the secrets of their sects so all the disciples are alive.
Zi Mo has been very depressed lately so I believe that she has already been betrayed by them. Rest will require the Young Master to check." He respectfully explained everything in short
"I will come 2 days later. Go and ask both of them to team up with you and hunt down Beasts and increase their cultivation. I am planning a big attack and want you to increase your strength for it" Yang Kai commanded with a solemn expression
He sent away the Old Demon who was filled with anticipation to regain his strength while Yang Kai stayed in the cave.
He wanted 2 days to create Combat techniques that can be used with the Wudao system.
His earlier combat techniques were compatible with either Yang Qi or with Demonic Qi. There was also a special one that was compatible with Beast Qi.
Yang Kai already had the experience to create techniques so it didn't take much time.
He started with his original Burning Sun three layer blast which was created by the original Yang Kai himself.
That technique worked on the concept of waves. The fist was coated with Yuan Qi in 3 layers which when shot converted into 3 layers of attacks posing as one. This plays the card of the unknown and the three attacks combined to form one were much more powerful than 3 original attacks.
Yang Kai converted this technique to use 4 layers of attacks with alternating Yin and Yang Qi. He tried to add more layers but that made the technique more complicated making the preparation time more which was not required.
He started converting a few ghost techniques which involve using the soul having high resentment to directly attack the soul of the enemy. There weren't many changes he could do to this technique but Yang Kai added a hidden backhand which was a small stream of Yang Qi to counter any Yang Qi related attacks which can destroy the ghost.
A few more techniques of Old Demon which used the Demonic Qi were also converted to be compatible with the Wudao System.
Yang Kai now has a few good techniques which require Demonic Qi but the pure Yang Qi ones are less. He sighed at this problem but didn't have any more time to create a new technique.

2 days later, Yang Kai finally walked out of the cave.
The difference between him entering the cave and exiting the cave was humongous. He now had the aura of a master. He had a faint killing aura around him that would make people scared. His temperament had changed from a young lad to someone having experienced hardships.
He was now ready, ready to fully go against the world.
Go against the Dao…
