Ronan also locked his office from the inside, then took off the mask he was wearing. Arielle stood in a daze as she watched the man shoo Lazarus away.

"Didn't you call Lazarus?" asked Arielle who was still looking at the door that was knocked loudly from outside by Lazarus.

"You don't have to worry about him. He will go away on his own."

"But-"

Ronan grabbed Arielle's waist and invited her to sit on the sofa with him. The girl looked around the room. It felt like she hadn't visited the room in a long time. She saw many piles of books and papers on Ronan's desk.

"You went straight back to work? Not resting first?" asked Arielle who was worried remembering William and Lucas' story that Ronan never rested and was always overworked.

"Ah, that… you don't have to think about it. I just do this in my spare time."
