Nefretiri
This was embarrassing. You'd think I could at least squirm my way out of his grip, but I was stuck, and Ivan was making sure of it.
I thought he'd put me down once we were outside, but he refused. Instead, he started walking at the same brisk pace as before. Not heading to the cars, but in the opposite direction.
"Alpha," I growl, still wiggling around. "Put me down."
"Nope," Ivan smacks my ass, and I yelp in surprise.
"Ivan!" I protest, which earns me a second one.
"Would you calm down?" He looks back at me. "I didn't do it that hard."
"That's not the point!" I counter angrily. "Put me down."
"Why?" Ivan glares at me, not giving me any reprieve. "So you can run off? I don't think so."
"What? I can't do that now?" I spit back, moving my body as much as Ivan allowed so I could stare at him. "Why do I need to face something when I don't want to?"
