EPILOGUE
Ten Months later
AUTUMN
I scroll through the channels, not sure what to watch. It's only eleven in the morning, and I'm already exhausted. All we did was grab breakfast from our favorite café, and the paparazzi swarmed us like normal. At least I expect it now. That was one good thing that came out of the tour - getting used to all the cameras and fans. Getting used to the fame. Everywhere we went, flashes and faces, all on us, all vying for our attention. We spent eight months traveling America and Europe, and if I thought being on Connie Matthews was intense, I had another thing coming. But Alex was with me the entire time, trying to shield me in any way he could, because this is what it means to be a celebrity.
And we are.
Both of us.
Since we've been back, the attention hasn't lessened. At least I know Alex and I can do this. We can withstand the media; we did it for eight months.
"What do you think?" He calls from the kitchen. "Different disguises next time?"
