Kapitel 34: 34
Louise cried out of embarassment.
Lucia didn't know what to say nor do so she stayed silent and helped Louise change.
The woman didn't mind as she was lost in her thoughts while crying.
After a while, she stopped crying but was hiccuping and while at it, she asked Lucia about the man.
"Wh- Who was he?" She stuttered.
"That... Was Augustus. He is the owner of this house and he was a friend of your father." Lucia gave a lengthy explanation to Louise.
"Why did he come in?" She asked as her tears fell again.
Lucia sighed.
"I don't know. Maybe he needed something to tell you..." Lucia couldn't get any explanation from this. She also didn't know why the man entered the room when he saw that Louise was changing.
The embarrassment she felt was magnified when she remembered how she looked in front of the man.
"He saw me... Waaaahhh!!!" Louise cried again.
Lucia became helpless.
Amidst her sorrowful crying, there was a rap on the door.
Lucia walked towards the door and opened it. Upon seeing that it was Hugo carrying the breakfast, she let him enter.
Louise tried to stop her tears but she can't. Hugo had a poker face. He didn't seem to see that Louise is crying her heart out.
He adeptly assembled the mini table on the bed and placed the tray over.
He wordlessly walked out from the room but his eyes signaled Lucia asking what was happening.
The woman shrugged her shoulders.
"I'll tell you later..." She whispered.
Louise calmed down after seeing the savory breakfast in front of her.
Her stomach growled in hunger so she momentarily forgot her embarassment and dug in.
Upon seeing this, Lucia don't know wether to laugh or cry. She might as well be happy that Louise's attention was diverted with food and stopped crying.
Remembering the face of Augustus when she entered, she couldn't help but shake her head.
She really don't know what came into his mind when he entered Louise's bedroom while she was changing.
Louise ate the porridge happily as it was delicious. She was quite hungry and it's been a long time since she ate solid food.
Though what she eat now is chicken porridge, it is still good.
"Slowly. Slowly." Lucia reminded her in a kind tone before she handed her a glass of water.
"It's been a long time since I ate." She said.
Lucia was saddened by this but shake off the thought immediately.
"When you can eat solid food, I will cook for you." Lucia wiped the corners of her mouth while saying this.
"Really?" Louise was quite happy.
"Yes. I know how to cook food. And many liked my cooking when I was still in Country P." Lucia bragged a little.
"Then, cook for me when I'm good." She happily said.
"Sure. Sure. Anything for you." Lucia smiled. She tapped her tall nose.
Louise smiled and nodded. She looked at Lucia while the woman was clearing the dishes and tucked away the foldable table.
"Lucia, can you tell me about my parents?" She suddenly asked.
